Video surveillance

The Nitrobox gateway can integrate video in its fixed and mobile applications alike.

In mobile applications (bus, train, cars), the Nitrobox records video for up to 4 cameras simultaneously, connected on the internet to a video-on-demand server. The Nitrobox server can provide video on demand from the Nitroboxes to a remote viewing software.

The viewing software displays a mozaic of video feeds displaying a live video feed from the Nitroboxes, or archives that were stored on the server. The video information can be linked to GPS information supplied by Nitrosoft's GPS plugin.

In fixed solutions, video surveillance is one of the most important feature needed when it comes to monitoring or controlling equipments from afar. Alarm functions can be used to trigger the focus of a particular video feed on the mozaic in order to obtain the user's attention on that particular feed. Prerequisites:

• Nitrobox XP
• Nitrobox server on Windows 7.
• Viewer software, compatible with Windows XP, Windows 7.
• Video cameras: Any type of Webcam, TCP, WIFI, or PLC, compatible with Windows.
