eRFquake sensor

eRFquake is a RFID device with a built-in motion detection sensor. This feature provides a new approach to the need of tracking and protecting assets and personnel.

Assets and personnel can be identified to groups, to single out specific items in the architecture, for example, a request can be sent to a group of wheelchairs, which are equipped with a eRFquake tracker with a pressure sensor, to identify wheelchairs that are available at the time of the query, and identify their location.

Other solutions may include airport management: a tracker is placed on a refuelling truck. When an airplane needs refueling, the nearest truck can be routed to that plane, and with the index meter feature of the eRFquake, automatically report how much gas was pumped for the plane, and thus enhance billing procedures by making that process fully automatic.

eRFquake is a wireless sensor that attaches to your equipments to react to motion, whether you are monitoring fixed equipments (i.e. crates, reels of copper cables, etc.) or mobile equipments (i.e. carts in a delimited space). The eRFquake adapts to both scenarios, providing location information of mobile equipment and alarms when located in certain areas, for asset management.

   

Motion data can be stored in the eRFquake’s memory, and then transmitted wirelessly based on your needs using Wavenis ultra-low power, long-range technology in flexible network configurations of any size. With Wavenis-enabled repeaters, gateways, and data concentrators you can easily integrate motion detection and tracking features in existing or custom solutions. You can also read or setup individual or entire groups of sensors wirelessly with a single click from PCs, Pocket PCs, or from the top of your architecture through the server.
